By accessing and using Sunday Bulletin ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Service Description
Sunday Bulletin is a directory platform connecting members of the Catholic community with Catholic-owned businesses. Similar to the business listings found in your parish bulletin, we provide a digital searchable directory where business owners can list their establishments and users can discover, search, and connect with these businesses based on location, category, and other criteria.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
One account per user is permitted
4. Business Listings
Business owners must verify that their business is Catholic-owned or operated
All information submitted must be accurate, current, and truthful
Business listings are subject to review and approval by Sunday Bulletin moderators
We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing at our discretion
Business owners must keep their contact information, address, and other details up to date
Businesses may submit photos that accurately represent their establishment
Each business listing is tied to the owner's user account
5. Prohibited Conduct
When using Sunday Bulletin, you agree NOT to:
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent business information
List businesses that are not Catholic-owned or operated
Use the platform to promote non-Catholic or anti-Catholic content
Harass, spam, or send unsolicited messages to other users or businesses
Submit offensive, obscene, or inappropriate content
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
Attempt to scrape, copy, or extract data from the platform
Reverse engineer or attempt unauthorized access to the App
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF CONTENT
UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION
SECURITY OF DATA TRANSMISSION
Sunday Bulletin does not guarantee the accuracy of business information, verify business ownership claims, or endorse any listed businesses. Users engage with businesses at their own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUNDAY BULLETIN AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
Damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
Any interactions or disputes between users and businesses
Inaccurate or incomplete business information
Third-party content or services accessed through the App
Our total liability shall not exceed $100 or the amount you paid to use the App (if any), whichever is less.
8. Account Termination
Sunday Bulletin may terminate or suspend your account and access immediately, without notice, for:
Violation of these Terms
Fraudulent or misleading business information
Abusive or harassing behavior
Extended periods of inactivity
Any other reason at our sole discretion
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, your business listings will be removed.
9. Modifications to Service and Terms
Sunday Bulletin reserves the right to:
Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time
Update these Terms of Service with or without notice
Change our pricing structure (if applicable)
Material changes to the Terms will be communicated through the App or via email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action must be brought in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
